Week One (Jan 8th - Jan 12th)

Although we have gotten most parts that we need to use, we are still waiting for other critical parts. While we wait, we are going to familiarize ourselves with the electronic parts that we have received. In addition to that, we are going to start working on building the framework, which is the main point of the system.

PICTURES

In the picture below, we were testing the soil moisture sensor. We have found that the sensor can send data in analog and digital signals. For digital signal, the sensor sends "0s" and "1s." For our project, we will use analog data because it gives a precise value of humidity.

The following pictures show part of the framework while we were building it. We have decided to use build the framework out of wood to reduce costs and for easier transportation.
